Traditional European Herbalism

Traditional European Herbalism has its roots in Ancient Egypt and dominated medicine in the Middle East, Europe and North America for over 2000 years. This class explores the principles and tenets of Humoral and Alchemical Medicine and how both are still relevant and vibrant in modern day herbalism. Using 4 different plants as our lens we’ll learn just how intelligent and familiar these ancient practices are.
