Ethnobotanical Tour with Rafael Ocampo

Spend the day with international ethnobotanist Rafael Ocampo at a few of his conservation / production projects outside of Matina, Limon. While beginners are welcome on the tour, the content will be intermediate herbalism, and a certain amount of basic understanding and species names will not be covered. Topics will include validation of plant use, conservation in the Caribbean, Cola acuminata, Quassia amara, Arrabidaea chica, Lippia alba and many other important tropical medicinal plants.
