Curanderismo with Irma Martinez

Ceremonial Grandmother Irma Martinez,OM, LE will share her wisdom and experience as a Mexican-American Curandera. Curanderismo (medicine of the people) is the art of folk healing. Irma uses rituals, music and dance to place the individual in touch with the inner spirit that knows how to and desires to self-heal. She will teach about ‘limpias’ or cleansings, freeing the body’s energy of negativity and blockages and other traditional tools to empower and care for the soul.
