During the garden tour you may see some of the many animals, birds, butterflies, insects and reptiles that come from the surrounding forests to feed on the flowers, fruits and leaves of our plants. Every day we see butterflies, including Blue Morphos, and many birds, including hummingbirds. We frequently see Toucans, Frogs and Sloths. We never know when a troupe of monkeys will come around the garden. Maybe you’ll get lucky!
Learn about our conservation efforts, take home cuttings for your garden and discover the amazing plants used for food, as medicine, as spiritual tools, for construction and in daily living. The plants also serve as food to many animals you may see here, including hummingbirds, morpho butterflies, agouti, iguanas, sloth, toucans and monkeys.
