Shayla Woodson is the owner of Sorrel & Fig Herbary and a master’s candidate in Therapeutic Herbalism at Maryland University for Integrative Health. She has conducted ethnobotany field research in the Bahamas, Guatemala, and United States. Shayla currently resides in Arlington, VA and is very passionate about incorporating social determinants of health into herbal medicine.
