Hidden Garden Nature Preserve is the perfect place to bring a small group for wellness retreats. We can sleep up to ten participants and our beautiful front yoga porch can fit about 15 people, as can our kitchen/dining area. In addition to providing a relaxing, eco-friendly lodge for your group, we offer many other options. Groups have access to any of our available classes, wellness services, library and garden. They can bring their own teachers as well as choose to hire any of our teachers (when available). Our staff will provide individualized attention to make your group experience exactly what you are looking for.

The cost per night to rent our space is $200, which includes exclusive use of the upstairs sleeping area and the kitchen. For an additional $50 you can have exclusive use of the teaching porch as well, otherwise Hidden Garden may occasional host a class in that space, only after clarifying the time with retreat organizers. Upon confirming the dates, retreat organizers will be asked to pay ½ lodging costs. Thirty days later the other half will be due, or 3 months before the retreat start date, whichever comes first. All payments are non-refundable.

Private Room

We provide certain meals, as well as hosting catering services and arranging local specialty chefs. See below for some sample dishes. Group prices are normally $12 per person for breakfast, $16 for lunch and $18 for dinner. We offer primarily organic and locally grown products, vegan and vegetarian meals, traditional Costa Rican dishes, medicinal meals and food-based cleanses that will convince anyone that healthy eating can be delectably delicious!

BREAKFAST

Whole Grain Oatmeal cooked in with warming spices and fruit.

Whole Wheat Bread, toasted with butter, jam, peanut butter, avocado and/or honey.

Choice of Seasonal Fruits with yogurt and granola.

Smoothies as you like – fruits, yogurt, green leaves, veggies, seeds, sprouts.

LUNCH

Fresh Seasonal Salad, served with whole wheat bread and butter or avocado.

Gallo Pinto – Traditional rice & beans, served with veggies, eggs or avocado.

Eggs as you like, served with sauteed vegetables and whole wheat toast.

DINNER

Whole Grain Pasta with vegetables, walnuts, capers in a butter & olive oil sauce.

Brown Rice & Lentils, served with curried vegetables and yogurt sauce.

Hand-made Yellow Corn Tortillas, served with beans, avocado, & cole slaw.

Large Seasonal Salad with seeds and avocado, served with potatoes as you like.
